See the Clouds

A word cloud is a computerized interpretation of a text file that illustrates the frequency of a word appearance in the file. The more often the word appears in the original file, the bigger the word appears in the word cloud.

For today's project, please work with your group to compare the two word clouds listed on your group collaboration page. As you discuss your assigned clouds, consider the following:
  1. What seem to be the key words or themes in each of the clouds?
  2. Using your background knowledge of the presidents and the times the speeches were given, why do you think the speeches have either similar or differing emphases?
  3. What do the speeches imply about the presidents' priorities?
Brainstorm your answers with your group, then list (on your group page) as many observations as time will allow.
